Listen to REMINDERS

Get ready for beach punk. Now, that might just sound like punk rock in flip flops, but Isle of Wight outfit, Reminders, were inspired.

Formed in 2017 and motivated by teenage lust, suburban boredom and their seaside hometown, the trio started writing songs- garage riffers, sub-two-minute rippers like ‘I’ll Be Fine’ (from their ‘Water Sports and Major Cities’ EP), and upbeat melodic numbers (like the newly-released ‘Carousel’, which, check below, has a video too)- and coined their own genre. And they’re committed to it too! After independently releasing a couple of EPs the band have now signed to Venn and Wiretap Records for the release of their pandemic-delayed debut album, titled, of course, ‘The Best of Beach Punk’.

For fans of The Strokes, Fontaines D.C., sun, sea, and angst.
