Moderate Rock

The 1990s are well and truly back. And while this is terrible news for, well, pretty much everything, a thin sliver of hope can be found in modern bands taking inspiration from that decade’s now-classic post-hardcore sounds. Austin, Texas outfit Out of Body aren’t the only ones doing so but they stand out- especially on new EP, ‘Son Sun’- by sitting crunching hardcore riffs right next to huge melodies, instead of blending the two for lesser effect. Totally sweet, dude.
