DEFTONES and ex-ISIS members unite in PALMS
Expectations will never be met. Surely it’s impossible. But, for now, get psyched. Deftones frontman Chino Moreno and Aaron Harris, Clifford Meyer and Jeff Caxide, all formerly of Isis, have formed Palms.
“Clifford, Jeff and I started Palms a little over a year ago out of a desire to continue making music together after ISIS ended,” explained Harris. “Chino joined shortly after and our sound took shape from there. We’ve worked really hard on this and are excited for people to hear it. It’s nice to be back behind the drum kit, and with this line up.”
Apparently the band’s debut album, recorded and mixed by Harris, is already in the can and due out through Ipecac later this year. Now, excuse us while we go change our pants.
