#MODERATEROCKRECOMMENDS- February 2018

Somewhere in the middle of last year I began to make a monthly Spotify playlist– a curated mixtape of what is on the Moderate Rock stereo, updated all month, every month. It tends to grow every Friday with the new releases but isn’t limited to that. For example, I had somehow never heard that Deadboy & the Elephantmen song until a colleague at work sent me a link. Side note: That Nils Frahm record is an early contender for album of the year.

February’s list looked like this:

COILGUNS- ‘Millenials’
HARMS WAY- ‘Sink’
THE ATLAS MOTH- ‘Coma Noir’
STORM{O}- Metafora del distacco
AMERICAN NIGHTMARE- Gloom Forever
TURNSTILE- ‘Can’t Get Away’
BARREN WOMB- ‘Drive-Thru Liquor Store’
PIANOS BECOME THE TEETH- ‘Bitter Red’
DON BROCO- ‘Got to Be You’
DEADBOY & THE ELEPHANTMEN- ‘Stop, I’m Already Dead’
THE SPOOK SCHOOL- ‘Still Alive’
KAYAK JONES- ‘Matter’
HOT MULLIGAN- ‘If You Had Spun Out in Your Oldsmobile, This Probably Wouldn’t Have Happened’
CAMP COPE- ‘How to Socialise & Make Friends’

TRENT REZNOR & ATTICUS ROSS- ‘Less Likely’
